Job Description

General Manager of Human Resources (HR) - Manufacturing

Location: Bandar Baru Kajang

Overview:

As the General Manager of Human Resources for our manufacturing company, you will be responsible for leading the HR function to support the organization's strategic objectives. You will oversee all aspects of HR operations, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, training and development, compensation and benefits, and HR compliance.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives.

2. Lead and manage the HR team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure effective performance.

3. Oversee recruitment and selection processes to attract and retain top talent for the organization.

4. Develop and administer employee policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

5. Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance handling.

6. Implement performance management systems to drive employee engagement, productivity, and development.

7. Design and deliver training programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of employees.

8. Collaborate with department managers to identify workforce needs and develop workforce planning strategies.

9. Administer compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitiveness and fairness.

10. Lead HR initiatives to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization.

11. Stay updated on HR trends, best practices, and legal requirements to ensure compliance and effectiveness.

12. Prepare HR reports and metrics to provide insights and support decision-making processes.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

2. Proven experience in HR management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

3. Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices.

4. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.

5. Demonstrated ability to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives.

6. Effective communication and negotiation skills.

7. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
