GENERAL MANAGER (Credit Consultancy and Recovery Services)

Managing work schedules, monitoring staff performance, providing feedback, and nurturing a positive working environment;- Assigning caseloads to recovery officers based on an analysis of various factors including officer performance, client location, and collection targets;
Generating reports for management about the departmental performance, collection updates, implemented strategies, and achieved results;
- Offering advice, guidance, and directives to the team on effective collection practices, laws pertaining to collections, handling difficult clients, and negotiation tactics;
Strictly adhering to, and ensuring that the team also follows all the procedures set by the company and regulatory bodies.- Providing necessary training to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge, thus improving their performance and the overall productivity of the department;
Promptly and professionally addressing and resolving any operational issues, conflicts or disputes within the team or with clients;
- Coordinating with other departments to comprehensively handle customer cases and improve customer satisfaction rates.
Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (preferred);
- 7 years of proven leadership experience in the collection, debt, recovery industry;
Proven track record of exceeding collection targets and improving team performance;- Strong understanding of collection laws and regulations;
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills;
- Ability to motivate and lead a team in a fast-paced environment;
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and collections software;
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
