Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble gelato and gelato cakes, following established recipes and standards.
Ensure consistency in taste, texture, and presentation of gelato and gelato cakes.- Conduct regular checks on the quality of gelato and gelato cakes, ensuring adherence to recipe specifications and food safety standards.
Assist in the development of new gelato flavours and cake designs, contributing creative ideas and techniques.
- Operate and maintain equipment and machinery safely and efficiently.
Occasionally interact with customers to take orders and provide information on gelato products.- Adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring a clean and safe working environment.
Report any equipment issues or maintenance needs promptly.
- Monitor inventory levels, assist with restocking, and manage supplies as needed.
Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in gelato and cake production.
Requirements- Experience in a similar role within a pastry or gelato production environment is preferred.
Passion for gelato making.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
Good teamwork and communication skills.- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work 5 and 6 days, alternating weekly.
