GBS - WB - Application Delivery & Enhancement MY (Software Developer/Software Programmer)

Develop and maintain the application systems in operation, including tasks related to identify, develop and enhance existing or new programs or applications. The role will support in monitoring issue resolution and follow up with vendor during SIT and UAT stages.

1. Assist in implementing or developing new systems e.g. requirement specification, system evaluation, installation, customization, testing, conversion and migration.
2. Assist in program or script enhancement for all application systems implemented.
3. Perform or provide assistance in bug fixing, change request, customization, and enhancement to application systems implemented.
4. Prepare and maintain user documentation and provide training for in-house developed applications.
5. Perform quality assurances on all application systems prior to UAT commencement.
6. Assist users in quality assurance testing (i.e. guidance on test objectives, planning, test script design, etc during UAT, etc).
7. Study and evaluate the impact of new releases, patches or version before applying/implementing.
8. Analyze the application failures/problems and provide resolution to mitigate/address them.
9. Ensure IT systems are running smoothly and accordance with the company's policies and procedures

Any other responsibilities/tasks as assigned by the management from time to time.

Qualifications

(Basic Degree/Diploma etc.)

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology / Computer Science or equivalent.

• Hands on experience in migration activities of a front to back programme in Banking or large corporate treasury
• Experience in Murex 3.1 asMxMLConsultant with 4/5 years of experience is required
• Good understanding and working experience of designing and implementing building blocks:
  • Automatic and Manual Tasks
  • Connections between workflows
  • Amendment agent for event management
  • Post-Trade Workflow Processing
  • Workflows Manager Overview & technical knowledge and abilities on:
  • Extensible palette and tools
  • MxML Exchange formulas
  • Status Management
  • Trigger of workflows
  • Ability to do technical design
  • Build & Unit test of workflows (MX.3)

Required Experience:

• Possess strong business & technical subject matter knowledge.
• Experience handling projects with many stakeholders and applicationsis a must.
• Possess strong Treasury knowledge, with expertise in at leastoneasset class.
• Candidate must have strong communication skills.
• Must be organized, able to work with minimal supervision, flexible to switch and work on different projects and manage them in a timely manner
• Experience in Agile delivery will be an advantage.
