Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced English Language Instructor to join our team at ELS Language Centers. This full-time position reports directly to the Academic Director or Academic Coordinator and involves planning, delivering, and assessing classes in alignment with the established curriculum. You will collaborate closely with fellow instructors and academic leaders to ensure a high standard of educational delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate the teaching of ELS academic programs as designated by the Academic Director or Academic Coordinator.
- Develop comprehensive lesson plans, instructional exercises, and assessments.
- Assess and guide students on their academic progress and classroom performance.
- Foster a supportive and engaging classroom environment conducive to effective learning.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to synchronize instruction and student attendance records.
- Uphold and communicate center policies and procedures to Associate English Language Instructors.
- Complete necessary administrative documentation as directed.
- Maintain accurate performance and attendance records.
- Assist in the development and refinement of educational materials at the local level.
- Participate in professional development initiatives and administrative meetings.
- Provide mentoring support to Associate English Language Instructors when needed.
- Be prepared to substitute in emergency situations when required.

Qualifications
- A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Education/TESOL/TELF or a relevant field, including CELTA or TEFL/TESOL certification (minimum 120 hours).
- At least 5 years of relevant teaching experience in ESL/EFL, both in-person and online.
- Native English speaker from one of the following countries: UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, or South Africa.
