Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Full Stack Engineer in Malaysia, with on-site mode. The Full Stack Engineer will be responsible for both back-end and front-end web development especially Python, Nodejs, and Typescript, software development, and CSS tasks. Day-to-day tasks include building and maintaining the platform, integrating user-facing elements with server-side logic, and designing user interactions on web pages.
Job Description
- Build and Innovate: Craft and enhance web applications using Python for the backend, Node.js for server-side logic, and TypeScript with modern front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- API Integration and Creation: Design, create, and integrate APIs to ensure seamless communication between different parts of the application and external services.
- AWS IoT Integration: Leverage AWS IoT Hub to integrate IoT hardware into applications. Understand and work with AWS IoT documentation to ensure smooth connectivity and data flow.
- Backend Expertise: Utilize Python frameworks (Django, Flask) and Node.js frameworks (Express, NestJS) to build and maintain scalable, high-performance server-side applications.
- Dashboard Integration: Work on integrating IoT hardware data into dashboards, providing real-time insights and control through user-friendly interfaces.
- AWS Management: Manage and scale applications using AWS services like EC2, Lambda, S3, and RDS. Optimize infrastructure and application performance using AWS tools.
- Database Savvy: Design and manage databases with a focus on performance, using both relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.
Requirements
- Experience: 5-8 years as a Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in Python, Node.js, TypeScript, and AWS.
- Deep knowledge of Python and frameworks like Django or Flask.
- Proficiency with Node.js and frameworks such as Express or NestJS.
- Experience with TypeScript and modern front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Strong understanding of designing, creating, and integrating APIs.
- Familiarity with AWS IoT Hub, including integrating IoT hardware into applications and dashboards.
- Solid experience with AWS services and cloud infrastructure.
- Proficiency in database management, both relational and NoSQL.
