REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS: E-commerce Manager
JOB SUMMARY
As a Web Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our e-commerce platform to ensure optimal functionality and user experience. You will collaborate closely with our design and marketing teams to implement innovative solutions and enhance our online presence.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and customize themes and templates to match our brand identity and requirements.
- Implement new features and functionalities on the Shopify platform using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Optimize website performance, speed, and responsiveness to ensure a seamless user experience across all devices.
- Integrate third-party applications and plugins to extend the web's capabilities and meet business needs.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues related to web configuration, code, and integrations.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in web development and e-commerce technology.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, marketers, and product managers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Conduct thorough testing to ensure quality assurance and address any bugs or issues promptly.
- Provide technical support and assistance to team members and end-users as needed.
- Continuously monitor website performance metrics and analytics to identify areas for improvement and optimization.

REQUIREMENT
- Proven experience as a Web Developer or similar role with a strong portfolio of Shopify projects is an advantage.
- Proficiency in web theme development, including customizing and extending existing themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Solid understanding of e-commerce principles and best practices, particularly in relation to user experience and conversion optimization.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Diploma / Degree in Computer Science
