Job Description

Freelance HR & Finance Specialist

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to provide HR and finance support on a freelance or part time basis. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, ensuring accurate and efficient payroll processing, maintaining up-to-date financial records, and supporting various HR functions.
  • Responsibilities:
HR:
  • Process monthly payroll for direct labor, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Calculate wages, overtime, bonuses, and deductions based on company policies, employment contracts, and applicable laws.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations, including withholding and remittance.
Stay updated on changes in payroll regulations and implement necessary adjustments.
  • Address direct labor inquiries and concerns regarding payroll matters promptly and professionally.
Assist with payroll audits and provide documentation as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of payroll transactions and payroll files.
Handle HR matters related to payroll, annual leave, and medical leave (if applicable).
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of all employee and freelancer records.
  • Finance:
Handle day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, and bank reconciliations (full or partial set of accounts).
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
Support the finance team with:
  • Ensuring timely approval and payment of supplier invoices
Timely disbursement of staff claims.
  • Timely closure of monthly and year-end accounting records.
Coordinate with external and internal auditors during audits.
  • Ensure proper data storage and document filing.
Undertake other duties as assigned by the management team.
  • Qualifications:
Experience with payroll processing and tax compliance.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively.

Pro-rated monthly compensation based on the market monthly rate for similar positions and the number of hours worked per month.

  • 00 - RM200.00 per day

    Expected hours: 8 16 per week
