Job Summary
Financial Planning Analyst Projection, Planning and Month-End Close Reporting & Analysis
Principal Duties And Responsibilities
As a financial analyst, you are required in preparation of:
- Maintain key components of Hyperion Planning application, including data loads to support annual planning and projection activities
- Develop and manage standardized input & data collection templates to streamline the planning input process of online & offline bottoms-up datasets
- Conduct variance analysis of P&L, Headcount, Balance Sheet & Cashflow that transforms into financial information and business insights that aid in the business's decision- making process
- Annual Planning activities & Quarterly Projection activities of assigned countries/business segments in APAC, including areas of revenue, margins, cost of sales, operating expenses, capital expenditures & headcount.
- Report on monthly financial performance against plan and/or projection
- Work closely with Local FP&A, Regional FP&A and Business Partner to ensure delivery of insightful management reporting and analysis
- Serve as a Hyperion SME to key stakeholders (Local FP&A, Regional FP&A, Business Partners, Other Functions)
- Continuous improvement projects in process/reports standardization of business finance
- Any ad-hoc reporting & analysis as required.

Expected Areas Of Competence (i.e., Knowledge, Skills And Abilities)
- Proficient in English Language. Mandarin language skills will be an added advantage.
- SAP, Hyperion or equivalent ERP system exposure is a must
- Knowledge in Power BI is an added advantage
- Advanced excel skills
- Good business sense committed and responsible in meeting deadline.
- Ability to work independently under fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Proactive, organize and problem-solving mindset.
Education/Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accountancy & finance related courses with accounting/finance/economic foundation course - CGPA 3.0 and above is preferred.
- At least 3-5 years of working experience in FP&A roles.
- Have experience working in a Shared Service environment
