Food Delivery Assistant

Position Title: Rider Cum Food Packer

• Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Rider Cum Food Packer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately packing food orders and delivering them to customers promptly and safely. This role requires attention to detail, excellent time management skills, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.

• Key Responsibilities:

• Food Packing:

Accurately pack food orders according to customer specifications and company standards.

• Ensure all packaging is secure, clean, and meets hygiene standards.

Label packages correctly with necessary information such as order number, customer details, and delivery instructions.

• Inspect orders before delivery to ensure they meet quality and quantity requirements.

• Delivery Duties:

Deliver food orders to customers in a timely and professional manner.

• Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries.

Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the delivery vehicle (bike or scooter).

• Handle and transport food items with care to prevent damage or spillage.

• Customer Service:

Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers politely and delivering orders with a positive attitude.

• Address any customer concerns or issues promptly and professionally.

Collect payments if required and ensure accurate transaction handling.

• Collect customers reusable containers and pass to kitchen.

• Operational Support:

Assist with inventory management by reporting low stock levels of packaging materials and other supplies.

• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and efficient workflow.

Perform any additional tasks or duties as assigned by the supervisor.

• Qualifications:

Valid drivers license and a clean driving record.

• Previous experience in food delivery or packing is preferred but not mandatory.

Good knowledge of the local area and navigation skills.

• Ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting and carrying packages.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Excellent time management and ability to work under pressure.

Good communication and customer service skills.

• Basic math skills for handling payments and transactions.

• Working Conditions:
