Your new role
- Lead the financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting process for the Global IT Controlling department.
- Analyze costs, capital expenditures, and operational expenses, providing insights on budget variances.
- Collaborate with Global IT Controlling and business leaders to align financial plans with the company's strategic goals.
- Monitor and report on key financial metrics related to investments, ensuring adherence to budgets and forecasts.
- Support decision-making by providing financial analysis and recommendations on technology initiatives.
- Develop and maintain financial models for projects, tracking ROI and performance metrics.
- Manage month-end and quarter-end financial reporting activities.
- Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and procedures, as well as external regulatory requirements.
- Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and scenario modelling to support Global IT Controlling and corporate initiatives.
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; MBA or relevant certification (e.g., CFA, CIMA) preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in financial planning & analysis, preferably with a focus on IT Controlling-related functions.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
- Experience with ERP systems and financial planning tools; advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to collaborate effectively with both finance and Global IT Controlling teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
