Responsibilities- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.
Analyze financial data and present insights to the management team.- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial information to stakeholders
Develop and manage the companys annual budget and financial forecasts.
- Monitor actual performance against budget, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions.
Support departments in preparing their budgets and forecasts- Oversee the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).
- Coordinate external audits and work closely with auditors to ensure successful audit outcomes.
Manage tax reporting and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations- Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making, including profitability analysis, cost analysis, and investment analysis.
Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
- Identify financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA, CMA, or similar certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and financial analysis.- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
