Role Overview
As a Financial Controller, you will report directly to the CFO and play a critical role in steering financial operations during an exciting phase of growth and transformation. Your responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all financial operations, including accounting, financial planning, forecasting, and reporting to drive business insights.
- Monitor and manage the financial health of the organization, ensuring compliance with international accounting standards.
- Supervise monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities, ensuring the accuracy of financial statements.
- Perform in-depth financial analysis to identify trends and opportunities for revenue growth and cost optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop pricing models and evaluate business opportunities in alignment with e-commerce trends.
- Oversee cash flow management and forecasting to ensure the company meets its financial obligations.
- Drive budgeting processes, providing strategic insights to leadership for informed decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, tax requirements, and internal policies.
- Strengthen internal controls and financial processes to support the scaling of operations.
- Support investment and funding decisions, including equity funding and market expansion strategies.
What We Are Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA, ACCA, or equivalent preferred.
- Strong command of financial analysis, reporting standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Proven experience in managing finance teams and driving performance.
- Ability to synthesize complex financial data into actionable strategies.
- Proficiency in financial tools and ERP systems is highly desirable.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
