Role Overview

As a Financial Controller, you will report directly to the CFO and play a critical role in steering financial operations during an exciting phase of growth and transformation. Your responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee all financial operations, including accounting, financial planning, forecasting, and reporting to drive business insights.
  • Monitor and manage the financial health of the organization, ensuring compliance with international accounting standards.
  • Supervise monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities, ensuring the accuracy of financial statements.
  • Perform in-depth financial analysis to identify trends and opportunities for revenue growth and cost optimization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop pricing models and evaluate business opportunities in alignment with e-commerce trends.
  • Oversee cash flow management and forecasting to ensure the company meets its financial obligations.
  • Drive budgeting processes, providing strategic insights to leadership for informed decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, tax requirements, and internal policies.
  • Strengthen internal controls and financial processes to support the scaling of operations.
  • Support investment and funding decisions, including equity funding and market expansion strategies.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA, ACCA, or equivalent preferred.
  • Strong command of financial analysis, reporting standards, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proven experience in managing finance teams and driving performance.
  • Ability to synthesize complex financial data into actionable strategies.
  • Proficiency in financial tools and ERP systems is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to adapt to shifting business priorities.
