They are one of the top Listed groups in Malaysia. Now, they are looking for an exceptional individual to join as their Financial Controller and partnering closely with the CFO for all finance related activities.
Your new role
- Prepare and oversee timely and accurate financial reports and disclosures in compliance with Bursa Malaysia listing requirements.
- Coordinate the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and deadlines.
- Ensure all disclosures are compliant with Bursa Malaysia's regulatory requirements, including those pertaining to corporate governance and sustainability.
- Develop and manage the company's annual budget in collaboration with senior management.
- Provide forecasts to assist in strategic planning and evaluate financial performance against projections.
- Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring adequate liquidity for operational needs.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of tax filings and manage compliance with tax regulations.
- Maintain and improve internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
What you'll need to succeed
- Must have chartered qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, CIMA, MICPA etc.
- Must have a total of 1215 years of prior working experience in Big 4 external audit and Bursa Listed company.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proven track record of managing a finance team and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
