Report to Hotel's General Manager and Singapore Head Office, and overseeing a team and be responsible for all finance activities.
Communicate financial information and reports to management and other stakeholders.
Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for the management and perform variance analysis.
Develop and manage annual budgets, including forecasting revenue, expenses, and capital expenditures. Perform variance analysis between actual results and budgets to identify discrepancies and provide insights.
Monitor cash flow, manage working capital, and ensure the availability of funds for operational needs.
Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and laws, including tax regulations and financial reporting standards.
Provide training and development opportunities to ensure the finance team is skilled and up-to-date with best practices.
Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and ensure that audit findings are addressed.
Requirements:
Qualified accountant (CA/CPA/ACCA) or other professional accounting accreditation
Minimum of 10 years experience in hospitality/ relevant field
Able to lead, guide and motivate a team to meet corporate goals and objectives.
Well-developed communication skills to interact with broad ranges of audiences
A big-picture thinker who is detail-oriented
