About The Role
Someone to supervise Group Reporting including transition of IFRS 17 (Insurance Contract) and IFRS 9 (Financial Instrument).
Roles And Responsibilities
- Supervise the month end closing and review closing task for Group Reporting.
- Supervise and review the financial report and IFRS templates and ensure all deliverables are complied with AIA Group Accounting Policies and submit timely and accurately.
- Responsible for parallel run in 2022 under IFRS 17.
- Responsible to analyse the monthly financial result.
- Contribute to the presentation and discussion with various stakeholders related to IFRS 17 and IFRS 9.
- Ensure controls on procedures and results with audit evidences and updated documentation are in place with regular review for enhancement.
Minimum Job Requirements
- A recognized Degree in Finance or Accounting or Professional Accountancy Qualification, with at least 10 years of relevant working experience
- Ability to work independently and possess good problem solving skills
- Proficiency in MS Office Excel, knowledge of SAP accounting system will be an advantage
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
