Qashier is seeking a
Finance Officer to support our growth!
We are a dynamic and fast-growing team excited about commerce, retail, and payments and the opportunity to transform these industries with data and technology.
This role manages daily payment transactions and ensures accuracy in processing, reconciliation, and records. It involves resolving payment discrepancies, improving system efficiencies, supporting audits, and handling finance-related tasks or projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Payments Specialists handle daily transaction processes, ensuring all payments are accurately processed, recorded, and reconciled.
- Work closely with operations and related entities in accounting and operational matters.
- Address discrepancies or errors in payments, implementing corrections when necessary.
- Research and resolve payment discrepancies.
- Review payment data from third-party partners.
- Improve payment procedures and systems for better efficiency and security
- Assist with audits, including internal and external audits
- Participate in process improvement projects
- Undertake any other finance-related matters or ad-hoc projects
What We Look For In a Candidate
- Minimum 2-3 years working experience
- Degree in accountancy or finance-related field
- ACCA / CPA certification will be a plus
- Knowledge of accounting software XERO will be an advantage
- Proficient in MS Office Applications
- Self-motivated, able to work independently as well as being a strong team player
- Excellent time management skills and attention to detail
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
