o Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making.
o Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with regulatory standards.
o Develop, monitor, and manage the institutions annual budget.
o Collaborate with department heads to prepare budget forecasts and track expenditures.
o Identify variances between actual and budgeted figures, and propose corrective actions.
o Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries.
o Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
o Implement and maintain accounting systems and controls.
o Conduct financial analysis to support strategic initiatives and business planning.
o Evaluate financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
o Develop financial models to project long-term financial growth and sustainability.
o Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and reporting requirements.
o Implement and monitor internal controls to mitigate financial risks.
o Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies as needed.
o Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure liquidity and financial stability.
o Optimize the institutions financial resources and investment opportunities.
o Supervise and mentor junior finance staff, providing guidance and support for professional development.
