We are looking for an ambitious and driven Finance Manager whose values align with our TEAM; standing for Together, Extra-mile, Accountable and Mindful. The Finance Manager works closely with the senior Finance team and Operations team and takes responsibility for the accuracy of financial reports and strategies for long-term financial plans. The core focus of the team is to maintain the financial health of the business, and it's the Finance Managers role to takes responsibility for financial reports and liaising with the senior team.
Role And Responsibilities
- Oversee country accounting and financial reporting functions ensure accounting transactions are recorded timely and accurately for month-end closing
- Review month end close management report
- Review landlord management report
- Coordinate with the team on day-to-day functions and queries
- Review & approve payments on a weekly basis
- Review bi-weekly actual cashflow update & forecast. Plan & propose funds supports monthly
- Review weekly AR collection status
- Assist and support country manager on monthly, quarterly and yearly EOM slides
- Support countries in preparing yearly budget
- Liaise with external auditor on yearly audit
- Liaise with external tax agent on yearly tax computation and submission
- Build solid relationships and give financial support across all departments and to vendors
- Manage APAC financial operations of the company, including general accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Review month-end closing and provide timely management and landlord reports
- Provide financial guidance and support to various departments within The Flexi Group
- Attend to other department and vendor's enquiry on payment status, and operation's matters etc
- Review and approve all payments in a timely manner
- Review bi-weekly actual cashflow update & forecast.
- Plan & propose funds supports monthly
- Oversee the day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
- Lead and mentor the APAC finance team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations
- Lead the monthly review process including reviewing financial performance, managing risks, and identifying new opportunities
- Liaise with external and internal auditors and taxation advisor
Requirements
- Four years experience in a customer-facing leadership position
- Personable with strong verbal and written communication
- Exceptionally organised with the ability to multitask
- Thrives under pressure and solution-oriented
- University Degree in a relevant subject is an advantage
- Good business acumen
- Prior experience in co-working, real estate, or startup business would be an advantage.
