Job Description:- Financial Planning and Analysis: Manage the financial planning and analysis process with strong business acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Reporting: Prepare financial statements and management reports for internal and external stakeholders promptly.- Policies and Controls: Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Cash Flow Management: Monitor and ensure the cash flow, liquidity, and financial performance of the company to sustain operations.
- Credit Risk Management: Manage credit risk and ensure Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) is maintained at a healthy level.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards and prepare statutory financial reporting.- Taxation: Manage taxation matters, ensure compliance with local tax regulations, and identify potential tax savings opportunities for the organization.
Stakeholder Relationships: Manage relationships with banks, auditors, and other financial institutions, ensuring efficient information exchange to achieve financial objectives.
- Team Supervision: Supervise and mentor finance department staff, ensuring all tasks are completed on time.
Strategic Support: Support strategic financial decisions through financial modelling and analysis.- Strategic Finance: Establish finance operational strategies by evaluating trends and establishing critical measurements. Serve as counsel to the C-suite and senior management, identifying strategic growth opportunities for the overall business.
Business Partnership: Act as a business partner to the commercial and operations teams, supporting invoicing, pricing, workflow automation, and identifying cost-saving opportunities to improve profitability.
- Capital Expenditure and Project Assessment: Assess capital expenditure proposals and the financial status of operational projects.
Possess at least a Degree in Accountancy; ACCA qualification is preferred.
- At least 5-10 years of experience as an Accounting/Finance Manager, with proven experience as a people manager.
Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.- Knowledge of SQL Accounting Software.
Advanced computer skills in MS Office and databases.
- Highly organized, dependable, and accurate.
Excellent interpersonal skills and a proactive attitude.
