Your new role
- Oversee daily operational activities, including data entry and reporting, supervising the team to ensure accurate, timely bookkeeping and adherence to approved accounting standards.
- Support senior management in the preparation of monthly management and accounting reports.
- Assist in the budgeting process and quarterly forecast reviews.
- Ensure strict adherence to company policies and standard operating procedures to meet internal audit requirements.
- Manage compliance matters, internal control systems, and lead projects implemented by global or regional offices.
- Provide support to internal stakeholders on accounting matters and liaise with external parties such as auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, and clients.
- Demonstrate hands-on leadership, coaching, and support for the team, with the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and ensure timely reporting to the regional office.
What you'll need to succeed
- Must have chartered qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, CIMA, MICPA etc.
- A minimum of 1012 years of Accounting & Finance experience, including 5 years in team management.
- Proficiency in managing the full spectrum of finance functions.
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP.
- Strong commercial experience in an MNC, particularly in finance operations such as month-end closing; familiarity with meeting strict reporting deadlines set by regional or global offices is preferred.
- Prior Big 4 or Big 10 audit experience will be an added advantage.
- Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
