Our client is manufacturing and selling personal Care products.
The Finance Manager leads the finance team and maintains the financial health of the company. He/she uses data analytics and provides recommendations on profit maximizing strategies. Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and ensures a strict adherence to the company's financial policies and procedures
Responsibilities
- Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company's
actual performance compared to the business plans.
- Develop trends and projections for the firms finances.
- Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
- Oversee operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and
design a framework for these to be met.
- Manage the preparation of the company's budget.
- Liaise with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is
maintained.
- Correspond with various other departments, discussing company plans and
agreeing on future paths to be taken.
- Follow up to ensure finance policies, procedures are applied and implemented
properly and accordingly.
- Hire, manage and coach finance team staff with regular training.
- Maintain a well-trained and motivated staff through excellent leadership and
communication skills.
- Implement company policies.
- Attend meetings, submit reports, keep accurate documentation and analyze
data to improve the efficiency of each departments in relation to expenditure.
- Any other duties relevant to the needs of the organization and as directed.
- Develop and motivate individuals to provide an effective finance team to assure the legacy in the talent agenda.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finances and/or Accounting
- Minimum 5 years experience as Finance Manager in a similar manufacturing
environment and/or FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods).
- Proficient user of finance software
- Experience in the financial sector with previous possible roles such as financial analyst
- A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles
- Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations
