Duties and responsibilities
- Consolidate and analyses financial statements / data and report financial performance by comparing actual results, financial KPI and ratios with past data, forecasts and projections.
- Coordinate with subsidiary and joint venture entity pic on the preparation of monthly financial statements and analysis.
- Liaise with external auditors and tax agents on all related matters.
- To assist in corporate exercise assumed by the Group.
- Validation of information / input in the monthly reports to ensure accuracy.
- Assist in Group budget and forecast preparation.
- Manage all taxation related matters.
- Projects investment return evaluations, project budget monitoring and analysis.
- Perform analytical review of consolidated financial statement which includes profit and loss, balance sheet and trend analysis.
- Handle treasury function including secure trade line, borrowings, cash flow planning and forecast reporting, monitoring compliance on financial covenants.
- Risk management, establish or refine internal control, process improvement.
- Any other task assigned by GFC.
Requirements
- Possess at least bachelor's degree in finance/Accounting or equivalent, preferably with a professional Qualification (ACCA/CPA/ICAEW/MICPA/CIMA).
- At least six years of working experience in a similar field, with three years of experience in a manager role. (Experience in audit and taxation would have added advantage)
- Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin
- Hand - on group consolidation experiences
- Confident and good team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-resilient and able to work in a fast-paced and aggressive environment.
- Proficient in handling Microsoft word, excel and PowerPoint.
