Manage and direct all aspects of financial operations for the Company, providing business decision support, financial planning and analysis, and implement strategic planning and improvement processes.
To ensure timely and accurate accounting and reports in accordance with local IFRS and tax rules.
Contribute to discussions on implementation of Finance strategy on a group/regional basis and implement objectives, as appropriate. Ensure staff have a consistent understanding and positive impression of business strategy for local country.
Ensure compliance with established financial processes, and local compliance requirements, statutory government reporting, procedures and controls; financial reporting and review of revenue, expenditures, asset management, tax, management reporting and administration.
Advise operational leaders on financial, strategic, organizational, and business issues for both short- and long-term growth strategies.
Assist in implementation of management and administrative financial systems, policies, and procedures to provide structure and discipline for sustained business growth.
Oversee financial planning & business performance analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, investment & risk management activities.
Ensure the accuracy of financial statements and the adherence to corporate reporting timetables.
Manage & liaise with external parties, including auditor, tax agent and bankers.
Lead staff in accordance with organizations policies and applicable legislation.
Planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance and guiding professional development; disciplining and addressing subordinate issues/problems.
Involved in implementation of key projects such as ERP system upgrading.
Perform other duties as assigned by direct superior.
Degree in Accountancy/Finance or equivalent. Professional qualifications will be an added advantage.
Minimum 5 years of experience in similar capacity.
Knowledgeable in accounting principles and practices; financial reporting, audit and taxation.
Meticulous, independent, proactive, responsible, able to multi-task and meet tight deadlines, effective communicator and team player.
Experience in manufacturing industry preferred.
Understand inventory management & costing.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Ability to identify financial issues, develop, recommend and execute mitigating actions.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Leadership capability to manage and mentor staff.
Well organized, resourceful and detailed-oriented.
