Position: Finance IFRS 17 Reporting
Job purpose
Responsible in handling accounts payable and management expenditure functions in good governance. Besides, the incumbent also responsible for improvement initiatives and system enhancement.
Key Accountabilities
Support in identifying the MFRS17 & 9 implications specifically for the finance functions in the Financial Reporting and Management Reporting systems
Engaging and working with relevant department to prioritize the development of the business requirements and solutions relates to the Finance functions
Assess GL gaps and data requirements for financial reporting in accordance with MFRS 17 & 9 requirements
Support development of new expense allocation approach and re-perform expense allocation to test methodology
Involve in preparation of accounting position papers for MFRS 17 & 9 and translate into accounting policies and accounting manual
Support the design to-be process and system enhancement requirements, from local systems, actuarial model, sub-ledgers, data warehouses, to account ledger and reporting tools
Preparation of new internal controls for updated processes and test control
Preparation of skeleton financial statements and disclosures, including comparative for MFRS17 & 9
Analyze the financial impact and preparation of position paper on transition approach
Develop test plan and participate in dry run & parallel run covering Finance scopes
Preparation of training material and provide training to Finance staff on new proces
