Purpose of the position
To handle the company full set of account, financial plan, tax and company overall financial management, to ensure the company financial is accurate and trusted.
Key responsibilities & duties
- To assist in preparing a full set of accounts, monthly financial and management reports.
- Cash Management and Treasury, general corporate accounting management.
- Review monthly financial management report in compliance with the reporting standards.
- Maintains all contractual documents for office banking arrangement, payment and debtor's legal matters.
- Responsible for yearly budget preparation and revisions.
- Prepares quarterly board papers by highlighting the financial result when compare to the annual budget.
- To assist in the preparation of annual audit and company tax compliance to the mandatory requirements.
- Ensure accounting records & systems are in compliance with company policies, approved accounting standards and statutory requirements.
- Perform other ad hoc assignment and tasks as requested by management.
Academic or trade qualifications
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Accounting/ Finance/Business or Partial Professional Accounting Qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA) or equivalent
Work experience and skills
- Minimum 2-4 year(s) of working experience in the related field
- Required language(s): Chinese, English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Able to handle a full set of accounts is an added advantage
- Excellent communication skills, including multiple languages.
- The ability to interact successfully across cultures.
- Critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills and strong judgment and decision-making.
- Do not mind to work extra mileage and highly commitment and responsibility to work.
- Able to meet tight deadlines.
