Job Descriptions:We are looking for a detailed-oriented and proactive Finance Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily accounting tasks, ensuring the accuracy of financial records and supporting financial reporting and analysis. Candidates with a trade finance background will be consider an advantage.
Handle day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.- Liaise with auditors, tax agents, secretary, bankers, suppliers, customers and government authorities, if needed.
Ensure proper maintenance of documentation and filing to support all accounting entry.
- Manage trade finance transactions including letters of credit, bank guarantees and documentary collections.
Prepare and verify export or import documentation in compliance with international trade regulations.- Monitor and reconcile trade finance accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
- Provide financial insights and support to other departments as needed.
Carry on any ad-hoc assignment when required.
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.- 3-5 years of proven work experience in accounting or finance.
Experience in trade finance, including familiarity with trade finance instruments and documentation requirements, is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and knowledge of Xero accounting software is an advantage.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Excellent communication skills for interacting with stakeholders and resolving issues.
