Position: Finance Consultant Lease Accounting (CLM) and/or Fixed Asset/Capex

Role Overview:
Roche is seeking experienced Finance Consultants with expertise in Lease Accounting (CLM) and/or Fixed Asset/Capex Management to support our finance transformation within an SAP S/4HANA environment. These roles are finance-focused and designed for professionals with a strong background in finance operations, who are adept at designing and implementing efficient processes to meet both local requirements and global standards. Familiarity with SAP tools is beneficial, though the primary focus is on driving business requirements, compliance, and process optimization in IFRS16 Lease Accounting, Fixed Asset, and Capex management.
Key Responsibilities:
For Lease Accounting Consultant (CLM Focus):
- Guide the deployment of Contract Lease Management (CLM) processes, working closely with implementation teams to ensure lease accounting requirements are effectively integrated.
- Design and refine processes to meet local lease accounting needs, collaborating with global finance teams to ensure alignment with Roche's standards and global finance templates.
- Leverage expertise in IFRS16 Lease Accounting to ensure compliance and accurate financial reporting, utilizing SAP tools to support processes without requiring technical configuration.
For Fixed Asset/Capex Consultant:
- Lead the design and deployment of Fixed Asset and Capex management processes, focusing on Capex budgeting, asset management, and financial reporting.
- Collaborate with finance stakeholders to define requirements and ensure that Fixed Asset and Capex processes meet both business and regulatory standards.
- Serve as a bridge between finance and project deployment teams, facilitating the smooth integration of Fixed Asset/Capex processes into SAP S/4HANA.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- For Lease Accounting Consultants: In-depth knowledge of IFRS16 Lease Accounting, with experience in SAP CLM or similar tools beneficial.
- For Fixed Asset/Capex Consultants: Extensive experience in Fixed Asset and Capex accounting, with a strong foundation in process design and deployment using SAP FI or similar finance systems.
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement finance processes, document business requirements, and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across local and global teams.
- Pharmaceutical industry experience is a plus, especially in Capex or Fixed Asset management.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA or other ERP systems from a finance perspective.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement and compliance.
- Knowledge of global finance templates and best practices in finance transformation.
