About Our Client
Our client is a start-up in the IT sector and is currently looking for talented individual who is keen to grow and progress with the business with strong ability to look into financial modelling and analytics.
Job Description
- Acquire a comprehensive understanding of the industrial software solution business model and the entire financial processes and their implications.
- Assist in the development of the monthly management pack, encompassing financial analysis and forecasts.
- Take charge of business control by crafting and managing budget and forecasting models for Business Profit and Loss (P&L) and critical balance sheet elements.
- Collaborate with the shared service operation team to facilitate month-end closing, accounting, tax, and transactional affairs.
- Aid in project profitability assessment by contributing to costing analysis.
- Actively participate in discussions regarding new business models and provide pertinent financial support.
- Engage in or lead initiatives for the digitalization and automation of the Business, particularly in matters related to financial systems, refining processes as necessary.
The Successful Applicant
- Degree in Accounting and Finance
- Preferably professional qualified (ACCA/CPA/CIMA etc)
- Min 5 years of experience in financial management, controlling, or business partnering roles within the technology sector, preferably in a commercial finance capacity
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, particularly in revenue recognition for technology businesses
- Excellent communication abilities, proficient in both English and Mandarin at a professional working level
- Required in dealings with China counterparts
