About the Role
As a valued member of the Finance team, your role will be to support the Head of Finance in business performance monitoring, providing insights of the BUs performance and improve business decisions through business performance reporting, planning and analysis. Also, as the Finance business partner to Sales and Customer Service team, supporting the development of new customers and contract renewals with existing customers through CAPEX and OPEX modeling/simulation.
Key Responsibilities: -
Business Performance Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare monthly financial reporting and provides insights on the results or trends (customer, price, volume) to drive pro-active performance discussions and decision-making within the Business Unit.
- Report KPI's on key business drivers to monitor performance and where required, identify new key business drivers that provides better clarity and transparency to monitor performance
- Collaborate with Sales & Customer Service team to prepare and deliver quarterly forecast and annual budgeting process to manage the achievement of established objectives and key milestones.
- Collaborate with Sales & Customer Service Team to deliver CAPEX/OPEX simulation and Investment Summary to derive a customer offer that is attractive and profitable in line with the LOA.
- Completion and submission of the monthly financial reports to APAC.
Forecast and Budgeting Cycles
- A key participant and contributor to forecast and budget cycles, collaborating with Sales & Customer Service to deliver revenue and growth assumptions.
- Consolidate Malaysia and Singapore forecast and budget into Hyperion Financial Management system (BRACS) and submission of APAC financial templates.
- Assist in preparation of forecast and budget presentation to regional leadership team.
Reporting Systems & Other
- Deliver the reporting requirements as required by APAC and the BU.
- Develop and maintain Work Instructions for areas of responsibility.
- Adopt continued improvement mindset in delivering impact to stakeholders and BUs
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent
Professional accounting qualifications recognized by a professional body
Required Skills
- Technical competency with various software programs including Microsoft Office, SAP, Business Warehouse, Oracle EPM. Well versed Microsoft Office, Excel, Power Point
- Strong analytical skills and attentive to details.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group including executives, managers, other internal stakeholders and subject matter experts.
- A developed discipline of planning, organizing, securing, and managing resources to achieve specific goals.
