Job Description:
- Maintain accurate financial records, including invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial documents.
Accurately input financial data into our accounting software and databases.- Handle accounts payable and receivable, including preparing and issuing invoices, processing payments, and reconciling bank statements.
Assist in the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts for school management and board meetings.
- Monitor and track expenses to ensure they align with the institutions budgetary constraints.
Provide administrative support to the finance team, including scheduling meetings, preparing correspondence, and managing files.- Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
Ensure compliance with institutional policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Communicate with parents, vendors, staff, and other stakeholders to resolve any financial discrepancies or issues.
Qualifications
- A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
Experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably within the education sector.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.- Good organizational and time-management skills.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Integrity and honesty in handling financial data.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
Passion for contributing to the education sector.
