Finance and Account Executive Job SummaryThe Finance Assistant will provide effective support for maintaining accurate and timely financial records tracking and processing financial transactions and for the Account part is to responsible for examining and reconciling organization's financial records to ensure overall accuracy and legal compliance. Daily/Weekly/Monthly responsibilities include maintaining our books, assigning/entering categorical or expenses, producing reports and also making educated recommendations to supervisor(s) on process, budget efficiency and improvements
- Finance Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Preparing bank deposits
- Entering vendor invoices and other disbursement requests into accounting software
Maintaining financial files- Prepare spreadsheets, collect data, and explain transactions
Troubleshoot problems that arise, consulting help resources as appropriate
- Accountant Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage books, expenses, categorical summaries
Manage Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss
- Help with monthly, quarterly and annual audits
Review and approve expense reports (as applicable)- Review and reconcile the general ledger regularly
Contribute to forecasting and budget planning exercises
- Uphold the excellent reputation of our company
Maintain constant communication with Supervisor- Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve shared goals
- Accountant Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field required
Minimum 3-year experience as an accountant or bookkeeper in a corporate setting- Exceptional computer skills, including Microsoft Office and databases
Superior math skills and an analytical mind
- Familiarity with Quickbooks and financial statements
Consistent, accurate, thorough, and detail moriented- Exceptional organizational skills and aptitude for numbers
Excellent communication written, oral and interpersonal skills
- General office skills including polished phone, email etiquette, maintaining files, etc.
Ability to thrive in a deadline driven environment- Corporate and personal tax experience is a plus
Experience with accounts payable and receivable is preferred
- Experience with audits, budget creation, and expense reports strongly preferred
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is a plus (desired)- Strong critical thinking skills Detail oriented, organized
Strong record keeping skills
- Ability to work independently and handle concurrent projects and assignments
