Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and qualified Chartered Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, financial analysis, and reporting. This role involves overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing strategic financial insights to support business decisions.
  • Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting:
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and manage budgets, financial forecasts, and financial models.
  • Monitor budget performance and provide insights on variances.
Audit and Compliance:
  • Coordinate and manage internal and external audits.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting principles, and company policies.
  • Financial Analysis:
Conduct financial analysis and provide actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Evaluate financial performance and identify areas for improvement.
Taxation:
  • Prepare and manage tax returns and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
Provide advice on tax planning and strategies to optimize tax liabilities.
Team Management: Supervise and mentor junior accountants and finance staff.
  • Provide training and support to ensure high performance and development of team members.
Financial Controls:
  • Develop and implement financial controls and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Qualifications:
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Masters degree or additional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA) is a plus.
Certification:
  • Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is required.
Experience:
  • Minimum of [X] years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with a strong background in financial reporting and analysis.
Skills and Competencies:
  • Proficiency in accounting software and financial management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
Skilled in Financial Treasury Functions

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM6,
  • 00 - RM8,000.00 per month

    Schedule:
  • Monday to Friday


Ability to commute/relocate:
  • Tanjung Malim: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
