Field Sales Assist Manager (Warehouse solutions)

• Responsibilities

• Scope 1: Business Intelligence

Conduct comprehensive market research to uncover new business opportunities, keeping abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions.

• Collaborate with the business unit manager to devise sales strategies aimed at achieving revenue targets and expanding market share in Malaysia.

Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with existing customers and key stakeholders.

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through lead generation, referrals, and networking.

Negotiate contracts with customers and carriers, ensuring adherence to company policies.

• Scope 2: Client Engagement

Engage with multiple contacts within client organizations to build and maintain strong, long-term relationships that ensure customer satisfaction and foster repeat business.

• Develop and deliver impactful presentations showcasing GES services and solutions tailored to client needs.

Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients.

• Analyze client performance and market trends to anticipate needs, providing regular performance reports to the business unit manager.

• Scope 3: Internal Collaboration

Work closely with the Import & Export operations teams to monitor clients shipment statuses.

• Track client receivables to ensure timely payments.

Regularly provide sales reports to the business unit manager using predefined templates.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for resolving high-level pricing and contract issues.

• Qualifications

Degree in any field prefereable in Business Admin, Logistics related.

• Excellent knowledge of MS. Office (Excel, Word, ppt, and visio)

6+ years experience working in the freight forwarding / logistics industry with the last five years at least within the sales function.

• Proficiency in using CRM software and other business development tools.

Ability to understand and present technical product information.

• Effective negotiation and closing skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM9,

• 00 - RM10,000.00 per month
