Why does this job exist and why is it critical
Regional Fibre Sales Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement a regional sales plan aligned with national sales objectives and targets, adapting to local market conditions and customer needs.
- Identify key growth opportunities within the region, including new residential developments and underserved areas, to expand fibre and broadband reach.
- Track and analyze regional performance against sales targets, using data insights to adjust strategies as needed and ensure consistent progress.
Team Management & Development
- Lead, coach, and motivate a team of Field Sales Supervisors and Sales Representatives, fostering a high-performance environment that encourages collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular one-on-one and team meetings to set performance expectations, provide feedback, and address any challenges the team faces in meeting targets.
- Identify and address skill gaps by partnering with the Sales Enablement team to coordinate training sessions on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer engagement strategies.
Fibre Customer Acquisition
- Drive customer acquisition within the region by ensuring that the Direct Sales team proactively engages with potential customers, including door-to-door, events, and targeted regional campaigns.
- Oversee the rollout of new sales campaigns and promotions, ensuring the team is equipped with updated information and tools to enhance customer engagement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with the Channel Support & Enablement team to ensure that field sales reps have all the necessary resources, including sales kits, promotional materials, and digital tools.
- Collaborate with Marketing to align on localized campaigns and promotions, ensuring maximum impact in the region and brand consistency.
- Coordinate with Performance Analytics to review regional sales data and derive insights that can improve sales effectiveness and address any identified gaps.
Operational & Financial Management
- Manage the regional fibre sales budget, ensuring effective resource allocation and cost efficiency while meeting revenue targets.
- Monitor expenses related to sales activities, events, and promotional efforts, ensuring adherence to budget guidelines.
- Ensure that sales activities comply with all Maxis policies, procedures, and ethical standards, maintaining a strong reputation for Maxis in the region.
