Roles & Responsibilities:
To review takaful proposal by assessing personal profile, medical report and legal information.
Approve and decline Takaful applicants based on risk analysis in accordance with companys underwriting and compliance guidelines.
Supports underwriting operation in ensuring the department meets the agreed sections productivity and performance.
To analyze the risk involved and make recommendation accordingly within the set turnaround time and service level.
Provides basic underwriting training to new underwriters ensuring that they are well equipped and ready for production. Also ensuring that training materials are up to date.
Job Requirements:
A degree in Biomedical Science/Biology/Health Science or any field related to human biology or public health.
At least 2 years in medical underwriting with good knowledge of medical conditions.
Able to work independently also in a team in a target-based environment.
Possess detail-oriented and proactive characteristics.
Proficient in written and spoken English.
