Role Objective - Responsible for regulatory compliance. OSH Act 1994/EQA 1974/ BOMBA Act and guidelines.
Ensure safe working environment and prevent any injuries, ill health accidents, and spillage at workplace.
Responsible in coordinating all activities of safety, health, and environment department in line with the department and the company's KPI's.- Support and assist HOP/HOD in investigating accidents, incidents, and complaints. Recommend corrective measures to prevent similar accident occurrences.
Conduct and participate in risk assessments, analyze data, and recommend corrective action plans to reduce risk at the workplace.
- Identify unsafe acts and unsafe conditions at workplce (UCUA)
Monitor, inspect, and assess hazardous materials, schedule waste, and pollution control equipment.- Oversee emergency response plans and coordinate fire and flood prevention activities.
Monitor the regulatory compliance of local authorities in areas related to safety, health, and the environment.
- Develop and implement safety training/DOJO Programs for employees.
Prepare and submit reports to Group SHE DRB,PHN Management, Customers, and related local authority agencies.- Maintain certification, records and documents related to ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 14001:
Develop, implement, and maintain an effective SHE Program to create awareness and reduce hazards in the workplace.
- To review and monitor the latest legal and other compliance and update accordingly.
Any other job assigned by the SHE Manager and Top Management PHN.
Minimum degree level and equivalent.- Able to speak and write in Bahasa Malaysia/ English.
Have good knowledge of occupational safety & health management systems and their statutory requirements.
At least minimum 1 years working experience in SHE fields.
