Established in 1961, Malayan Flour Mills Berhad (MFM) is the pioneer in the flour milling industry in Malaysia. Over the years, MFM has grown to become one of the leading flour millers in Malaysia. Outside of Malaysia, MFM also has presence in the flour milling industry in Vietnam and Indonesia. In Indonesia, MFM is one of the shareholders in PT Bungasari Flour Mills Indonesia, along with Toyota Tsusho Group (Japan) and PT FKS Food and Ingredients (Indonesia).
MFM ventured into the poultry feed business in 1983 and since then has expanded considerably across the poultry value chain in breeding, farming and processing, to become one of the leading poultry integrators in Malaysia.
In November 2019, MFM commissioned a new state-of-the-art poultry processing plant with a processing capacity of up to 280,000 birds per day. MFMs group revenues in FY19 were RM

Job Description
- Payroll Management
Responsible for administering the payroll for Non-executive level and below.
Ensure the submission of statutory contribution to ensure compliance and no penalties cases.
Attend to payroll related enquiries from internal stakeholders (HQ Rewards & Operations and employees) including enquiry on wages, payroll processes and procedure and external stakeholders (EPF, Socso, Income Tax) troubleshoot Payroll Avenue system errors, statutory audits, etc.
- HR Administration
Preparing Employment Letters for new hires and HR correspondences for existing non executive level workforce (e.g. staff movement, etc.)
- HR Operations
Manage overall staff personal files and information, ensuring all information/files are kept with the highest level of confidentiality and integrity.
Attend to all queries with regards to staff matters i.e. leave management, attendance management and payroll management.
Manage timely production, collation, storage and reporting data pertaining to organizational headcounts, labour cost, and employees personal records.
- HR Policies and Procedures
Assist to develop relevant HR policies and procedures, act as the custodian of all HR policies, and guide managers accordingly. Maintain and update the HR policies and procedures as and when require to ensure it is kept current.
Advise and support on issues related to labour legislations, and disputes.
- Employee Medical Coverage
Medical Third Party Administrator (TPA) on outpatient, outpatient specialist and dental for staff and/or family members.
Handling outpatient claim and issuing guarantee letters on need basis.
Handling SOSCO claims submission.
- Annual Salary Review & Bonus Payout
Assist in the preparation of annual salary review and bonus exercise.
Document performance feedback for all workforce at the farm, from Managers and Farm Managers.
- Reporting
Reporting on Attrition Rate, Demographics, Overtime, Government agencies, etc.
Identify and highlight any recognisable trend to alert the HR Manager for necessary interventions.
- Perform other tasks and assignments as directed by the Management from time to time.
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent
1 - 2 years experiences in payroll processing or related field
