Job Description

The role requires to execute the below tasks and initiative:

Responsible for all phase of operations of the department to ensure efficient services at minimum cost.
Responsible for the well conduct of the day-to-day operations i.e build-up transfers and document processing.
Responsible for cost control in all areas of department activities.
Evaluate performance of subordinates.
To develop staff knowledge in their day to day operations.
Review of methods to find out better ways and bring about work simplifications .
Attention to quality standards of output.
Other special duties as may be assigned by superior.
This position will be based at our Penang Branch, Batu Maung

To be successful in this role, we are expecting the below:

Candidate must be willing to do shift work (especially Night Shift), Public Holiday & flexible with working hour.
At least 5 years of working experience, preferably from logistics experience in Forwarding line (Export management)
Knowledge in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Power Point
Proficiency in Malay & English verbally and in written.
Undertake any duties and responsibilities assigned by Reporting line manager.
Good logistics and distribution operations experience
Strong with Leadership skill and Strategic Thinking
Have responsibility on the assign task & Work Independently (minimal supervision)
Positive Mindset (able adapt to changes)
Fast learner & Proactive
