Job Purpose
- To manage and monitor the billing process covering Trade and Non-Trade billing, ensuring compliance to financial reporting standards, policies and procedures, financial control, Limits of Authority (LOA) and regulatory requirements. The scope of work is to cover the billing process for both PRCSB and PPCSB.
- To manage the operations of Accounts Receivable activities such as timely issuance of invoices, clearing of incoming receipts, monitor collections and reconciliation with Offtakers; as to ensure optimum cashflow management for the Companies.
Key Accountabilities
- Managing The Trade Billing End To End Process
Execute the implementation and delivery of Trade Billing activities through detailed planning, standardization of work procedures and processes, clearing and reconciliation, and performance monitoring in accordance to policies and procedures and statutory requirements to ensure accurate and timely billing by the companies.
To ensure no Revenue leakages, with invoice documentations substantiated, and issued on time per stipulated in Commercial agreements. Eliminate any gaps on cash collections vis a via product deliveries or title transferred to offtakers.
- Managing Offtakers, Handling Of Collections, Customer Ageing & Clearing
Handling billing issuance for the companies through timely and accurate generation of invoices within the stipulated time, as governed in the Commercial contracts/ agreements.
Able to manage Trade Offtakers on invoicing matters & issue resolutions, collections and monitor ageing receivables via detailed understanding of the end to end process from Goods Issuance to cash collections.
- Financial Services Reporting For Month End Closing
Manage day-to-day AR Sales and Volume reporting, month-end closing activities for revenue recognition, and monthly reporting such as Ageing, Statement of Account (SOA), SST- Sales tax reporting to Customs, Cashflow Forecast and Financial Services KPI-Dashboard.
- Advisory On Receivables/ Billing Related
Support and provide consultative advises to the JV on Billing / Invoicing matters pertaining to operations, processes and requirements; as to ensure documentations are in place and no revenue leakage or cost are recovered on timely manner.
To ensure full compliance to related contracts & agreements, Service Level, and in strict compliance to Finance SOP, LOA & Governance and ERP's segregation of duties.
Qualification & Experience
- At least a Degree in Finance and/ or Accounting or related field with similar qualification.
- Minimum 6-8 years relevant working experience, with experience in plant operation is an advantage.
- Preferably Executive/ Senior Executive specializing in Finance/ Accounting or equivalent, with knowledge in fundamental accounting concepts/ principles, practices and procedures.
- Ability to handle high volume and adapt to complex work environment, and changes in business landscape.
- Familiarity onwards accounts receivable (AR), accounting, billing, invoicing, cashflow forecast, statement of account (SOA), ageing, accruals.
- Experienced and knowledge in using Accounting ERP system is preferred (e.g. SAP).
- ADDITIONAL (If any, it would be an added advantage) - Professional Accounting certification such as ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW, MICPA, CFA, or CFA.
- Customer-oriented (internal and external) with good communication and negotiation skills.
- Able to communicate and work within a team environment and within an environment of constant changes.
