Job SummaryThe Event Coordinator Executive provides support in the execution and management of internal business operations. This role involves assisting with employee activity oversight, helping ensure departmental alignment with financial goals, and supporting the implementation and tracking of annual scopes of work. The Executive assists with designated projects and their coordination. This position reports directly to the Business Operation Manager.
Operational Support: Provide support in implementing strategies and policies.
- Quality Control: Ensure daily operations run smoothly and meet quality standards.
Data Reporting: Collect and report data from market research and various departments.- Project Support: Assist in executing and monitoring projects and events, including performing UAT testing to ensure system functionality meets business requirements.
Budget Tracking: Help in tracking budget expenses and ensure financial compliance.
- IP Documentation: Assist in preparing and maintaining documentation related to patents and trademarks.
Stakeholder Communication: Maintain communication with stakeholders.- Handle confidential and sensitive information with the utmost discretion and professionalism.
Ad Hoc Tasks: Handle miscellaneous tasks and projects as assigned by the BOM, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities.
- Required Skills and Qualifications
Bachelors degree or higher in Business Management, Operations Management, Event Management, or equivalent.- Proven working experience in an event company as an Operations Executive or Event Planner.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in an operations role.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Proficiency in verbal and written Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia.- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
Experience in handling events or projects.
- Experience with ERP systems is an added advantage.
Experience working with the Australia and China markets is an added advantage.- Willing to travel internationally when required.
