Role Description- Manage and lead the Estimation and Proposal team and develop Winning Bid Strategy and to secure successful project bid.
Prequalify as vendor with all major EPCC, Mechanical Contractor, Shipbuilding & Ship repair, Power Generation and offshore.- Prepare local market requirement and all other requirements or factor to be included and considered before tender Submission and this to ensure all factors has been considered.
Evaluate RFQ and ensure that bid / proposal meet the client requirements and standards.
- Cost estimate of material, labour and resources required for the project. Collect input from the supporting department for bid purpose.
Negotiate and co-ordinate with supplier and subcontractor for reasonable prices. Organize tender review and signoff as per the company policy & procedure- Participate and involve pre and post bid tender meetings. Co-ordinate and provide support to the project planning / contracts department after award of contract.
Conduct site visit and client visit for technical and commercial clarification.
- Develop and maintain customer relationship and to maintain supplier / subcontractor database.
Prepare tender list to track the historical cost information, project details & budget forecast.
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelors Degree/Professional Degree in any field. Preferably from engineering background.- At least 10 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Knowledge in insulation, blasting & painting and scaffolding.- Knowledge in oil and gas industry.
Knowledge and experience in ISO Quality Management.- Experience in project estimation, proposal development, and pricing strategies.
Strong analytical and numerical skills.- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.- Knowledge of construction industry standards and practices.
