Funding Societies is looking for an ES Engineer for Malaysia will be based in the Malaysian office and will be responsible for providing comprehensive support for endpoint security measures. The engineer will also be involved in participating in audits, adversary simulations, and tabletop exercises
Requirements
What will you do:
Acquire an understanding of the companys IT, product, and engineering environments and information systems.
Contribute to the enterprise-wide security engineering and architecture program, analyzing current policies and capabilities to proactively identify enhancements.
Keep current with security market trends and solutions, develop technical standards and guidelines, and maintain detailed documentation and process flows for Enterprise Security (ES) and Identity & Access Management (IAM).
Conduct root cause analysis, identify gaps, and make recommendations to improve ES and IAM processes to align with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Collaborate with application and infrastructure owners to define integration initiatives for all externally- and internally-facing applications and systems.
Perform second and third-tier technical support for user access enquiries.
Actively perform ticket management and participate in project meetings/audits/inspections.
Perform periodic audits on user access to systems.
Track and report on key risk indicators (KRIs).
Handle user account provisioning/modifications and data backup.
Prepare and conduct awareness training for users.
Create, modify, and troubleshoot Jira Project boards.
Write scripts and code to automate repetitive tasks and system configurations.
Provide backup and assistance for IT Engineers during their absence.
What we are looking for:
A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology (IT), or related fields.
5+ years of experience in the same role.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Curiosity and Continuous Learning
Need to be available for on-site support during weekends & odd hours in case of emergency
Good to-haves:
Knowledge of Google Workspace, JumpCloud, remote support and administration, Windows & macOS, iOS & Android OS
Experience with audit tools and technologies for assessing security controls and compliance.
Ability to interpret and analyze audit findings and recommend corrective actions
