Job Description- Assists the Maintenance Manager or Superior in the maintenance and operation including room, hall room, public area, machinery, tools and equipment of Hotel.
To supervise Technician work, monitor and ensure work is completed on time.- Update pending work, work progress and any other issues related to the department to the department head.
Attend daily briefings if department head are on leave and lead the team in ensuring work runs smoothly.
- Perform all hotel operation requirements and recordings of activities and ensure system is working efficiently.
Routine check of equipments efficiency and performance are established in compliance with the department standard operating procedure (SOP).- Respond promptly to maintenance issues and emergency calls and to attend to emergency work from time to time.
To follow up work order from other departments.
- Conduct regular inspection tours of the hotel to ensure all operating equipment is working correctly.
Identifying repair or replacement needs, repairing, installing, maintaining, upgrading of electrical system, assist in other related duties.- Inspect and diagnose malfunctioning tools, equipment, electrical systems, apparatus, and components.
Arrange for routine maintenance in hotel rooms, lobbies and facilities.
- Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
Interact with Technician, vendors, contractor and various department staff members.- To ensure the team complies with the leave application process and reports employee absences immediately to the Department Head or Human Resources.
To ensure the team complies with the overtime application process and submit the overtime form to Human Resource Department on time.
- To perform other duties apart from normal job duties when directed by Superior or Management.
At least SPM or Certificate/Diploma in related field.
- Experience in electrical, plumbing, AV system and air-conditioner system.
Proficient in using a computer at least Microsoft Office.- Capable of multiple tasks.
Ability to work under pressure.
- Able to communicate effectively in English and Bahasa Melayu.
Malaysian citizen only.
