Maintain the understanding and knowledge of company's standards and best practices in project executions as well as plant's technology.
Managing preparation and start-up of new production lines and/or products including cross-functional collaboration, problems solving, information exchange. Lead and execute all changes related the product, it's packaging, as well as technological process
Conduct an active partnership with other company's departments as well as communications related to new initiatives, products and technologies.
Ensure coordinated actions across plant functions as well contractors, suppliers and other partners.
Ensure timely plant CAPEX/OPEX budget planning for department as well as project-related budgets and control the execution. Manage investment portfolio of the factory.
Ensure timely and transparent reporting of CAPEX projects execution according company standards. Manage and control KPI related to engineering function/department
Take a leading role in defining and execution of plant technical development strategy, ways of reconstruction, reasonable level of process automation, environment protection measures, lean production, industrial safety and energy effectiveness of production as a mid-term and long-term strategy.
Follows by himself and control others in following of project and technological discipline, actual external (local technical legislation) and internal (company's standards and policies) regulations in areas of manufacturing safety, Food safety, ecological, environmental and fire protection regulations related to scope of responsibilities and projects in execution.
In time preparation of technical documentation related to projects.
Manage the engineering department. Performing regular individual performance reviews with direct reports, giving and collecting feedback, support and drive development of direct reports professional skills and personal competencies
Follow and enforce GMP, ISO, HACCP, SSE rules and standards
Participate and actively works in pillars of Manufacturing operating System (MOS) with assigned role and position.
Responsible for Safety, Health and Environment requirements and legislation implementation and ensures compliance to legal and corporate standards & policies in projects and installations executed; design and execution including LOTOTO (Lock Out Tag Out Test Out), permit to work, hazard work permits, behavioral observation systems, contractor management.
Responsible to ensure that ergonomics and SHE Safety, Health & Environment risks are mitigated or eliminated in projects.
Control others in following contractor management in the work area, preparing permits and reviewing risk assessments and method statements.
Championing the Safety, Health and Environment culture through role model behavior.
Requirements
University degree in Engineering (preferably Process/Mechanical/Chemical/Electrical Engineering);
Knowledge of main business processes, technology as well as essential stages of manufacturing and packaging of finished product.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in manufacturing industry in the Food, Pharmaceutical or Process Industry
Exceptional project management skills with a track record of delivering high quality projects in a manufacturing environment with a value in excess of 5 million euros annual spending. -
Experience in new product launches and/or new types of packaging to the market; -
Experience in management of direct reports team, Strong leadership & influencing skills
Well-developed analytical and administrative skills - Well-developed communication and collaboration
