Engineer / Senior Engineer:
Role Purpose:
To work on current and future OEM projects as a Stress Analyst.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize stress technical knowledge to provide acceptance, rework, or repair scheme in accordance with customer requirements.
- Provide engineering investigation, conclusion and recommendation to customers on modifications if necessary.
- Ensure all work is documented and delivered according to customer requirements.
- Liaise with internal departments and/or external customers for technical information and coordination.
- Reporting to Principal Engineer.
- Responsible to guide and/or supervise junior engineers in their work if carrying multiple years experience and skills.
- Accountable for developing and managing tactical KPI, monitor progress, and deliver targeted performance and comply to company 5S, EHS & Code of Conduct policy at all times.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical or equivalent engineering discipline.
- At least 2 years experience in aerospace field as a Structures Engineer.
- Proficient and able to converse in English.
- Experience and understanding of aircraft structural repair (composite & metallic) either through academia or industrial experience.
- Proficient in Nastran, Patran, CATIA desirable & Microsoft Excel.
- Stress Report writing.
- Strong communication skills in listening, informing and presentation.
- Self-confidence, reliable, independent, proactive and pursue emotional and behavioral maturity.
- Motivational drive towards initiative, persistence, excellence, and results oriented.
- Applicant must hold relevant Malaysia residence or work permit.
