Job Description
Maintenance Operation Control Engineer is responsible to monitor the fleet airworthiness status, maintenance activities and daily aircraft operation to suit the fleet allocated schedule. Coordinates with Part 145 AMO to ensure all maintenance requirements have been fulfilled. Work closely with other parties such as Operation Control Center, Flight Operation and engineering sections for operational and maintenance plans.
Functional Duties
a. Monitor aircraft defects and review JML/DDML and initiate plan for troubleshooting and rectification
b. Analyze fault recorded by Aircraft Condition Monitoring System (ACMS) for further action.
c. Monitor and verify all engineering delays. To compile and produce monthly OTP reports.
d. Attend weekly and monthly On Time Performance (OTP) meetings.
e. Monitor the validity of 36 Hours Check/ Weekly Check/Stayover Check and 10 Days Check. To plan for the required ground time.
f. Part of Safety Action Group (SAG) team member. Incharge of Safety Report which is assigned to MOC.
g. In charge of DDML & AMD defects. Initiate spare and rectification plan.
h. Coordinate and communicate with Part 145 AMO Technical Handler with regards to aircraft schedule, maintenance requirement, invoices and FAMO.
i. Liaise with Part 145 AMO for maintenance plan and ground time for defects and AMP tasks
