Job Summary
Maintenance Engineer responsible in overseeing maintenance department activities and implement best practices and value-added cost control for overall maintenance operation.
Key Responsibilities
Planning and scheduling the maintenance work and responding to the machine/equipment
failures.
Proactively preview the work order and ensure work order is carried out effectively and meeting the schedule.
Supporting teams in troubleshooting in day-to-day maintenance activities in the operations.
Periodic reporting the total plant maintenance performance include monitoring, percentage
achievement of work order, equipment performance, reliability and history of equipment,
maintenance downtime, MTBF, MTTR, OEE /AEM, etc.
Responsible in up-dating and total plant machinery document control.
Conduct studies to determine the feasibility, costs, or performance benefits of plant machinery performance.
Engage and coordinate closely with service contractors when necessary and provide necessary support.
Utilize the deployment of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for
physical asset registration, work order creation, stock level of inventories, manpower
management and maintenance planning and scheduling.
Work closely with safety officer or local authorities to ensure plant is compliant with OHSA,
DOE and other legislations and regulations.
Track spares and consumables usage and ensure adequate provision for day to day operation.
To comply and adhere to all matters pertaining to Quality, Safety & Health and Environment related to the job scope and work place as required by the Company.
Any other duties that will be assigned from time to time by the Management.
Qualifications
Bachelor Degree in Electrical/Mechanical or relevant.
Competencies Required
At least 3 years working experience
