Job Description
- Driving enhancement on priorities across key functions: safety, quality, productivity, people engagement and cost management.
- Provide process engineering professional & technical support to the operational function.
- Daily support including factory floor problem solving, troubleshooting, training, coaching.
- Lead multiple process improvement projects with factory teams to eliminate wastage and losses.
- Utilize external suppliers, experts, other factories and corporate team to ensure proper technical solutions are defined and implemented to eliminate root causes.
- Develop training and skills assessment for operation team members.
- Supports new product or process implementation and improvements.
- Ensure processes & equipment are compliant with all internal and external safety environmental and quality regulations.
- Support implementation of continuous improvement and operational excellence systems.
- Leads programme related to Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement.
- Implement and lead 5S projects across the production.
Qualifications/Experience
- A University degree graduate in Engineering / Food Science / Technology / Management.
- Understanding and passion for continuous improvement methodologies.
- Knowledge and understanding of the value stream and cost drivers in operations.
- Ability to mine and analyze data trends / reports.
- Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to interact with and lead a diverse group, including managers, technicians, operators and subject matter experts.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Project Management skills
- Strong technical understanding of basic manufacturing equipment
- 5S experience is an added advantage
