The External Expert Engagement Organization is GSKs central strategic capability to drive smooth, seamless and compliant engagement of Health Care Professionals (HCP), External Experts (EE) and Health Care Organisations (HCO) across the globe We are an integral part of GSK Commercial with the objective to lead and provide HCP/EE and HCO Engagement subject matter expertise, supporting the delivery of Promotional and Non-Promotional engagement programmes.
The Engagement Specialist is responsible for fulfilling the engagement process as part of the enterprise operational service hub model ensuring that GSK engages HCP/EEs and HCOs for cross border and within country activities (e.g. Congress Sponsorships, Sponsorship of Third Party Meetings, GSK Standalone Meetings, Speaker programmes, Advisory Boards and Consultancies) efficiently and in compliance to all relevant global and local legal and regulatory requirements for contracting, payment and financial disclosure.
Key Responsibilities
- Support specific core HCP/EE and HCO Engagement processes for GSK Pharmaceuticals and ViiV Healthcare.
Maintain specific core Engagement processes specific to enterprise Health Care Organization, Health Care Professionals and External Expert requirements and aligned with GSK Code of Practice and relevant engagement policies and written standards.
Deliver operational support services to support specific therapy aligned Health Care Organization, Health Care Professionals and External Expert engagements for local and cross-border/above country sponsored activity as required.
Ensure customer queries are dealt with in a timely manner.
Ensure Health Care Provider/External Expert travel is booked compliantly in line with GSK policy.
Maintain documentation compliance and retention to required standards.
Assist in the delivery of level 1 quality framework (checklists) and support of QA audits (level 2-3).
Support a culture of continuous process improvements through regular end to end process reviews
Provide input into the design of appropriate training programmes and materials to support all staff training needs (e.g. e-learning modules, ways of working Navigator pages, process micro-sites, process flows, checklists).
Ensure payments to HCOs are paid on time in accordance to GSK payment processes.
Adhere to quality monitoring frameworks to assure senior management of the delivery of HCO payments and TOV activities in accordance with internal standards and external regulatory and legal requirements.
Adhere to the governance and internal ways of working established in the EEE organisation.
- Utilising existing systems tools and ways of working to enable effective, consistent and compliant delivery of Health Care Organization, Health Care Provider and External Expert Engagements.
Maintaining and enhancing existing process to support the continued business, ensuring that both system and process remain fit for purpose within a changing external and internal environment.

Self-motivated; works as part of a highly matrixed global team.
